Endothelial Cell News was launched early in 2016. This newsletter fills a niche among the Connexon science newsletter offerings, as it covers an important field of cell biology that our existing newsletters were not capturing. The endothelium, a thin layer of cells that lines all blood and lymphatic vessels, is implicated in many biological research areas, such as cancer progression and treatment, numerous metabolic, vascular, neurological and inflammatory diseases, as well as tissue damage and regeneration. Endothelial Cell News is a fantastic resource for keeping current on the latest advances in endothelial cell biology, and serves as a complementary newsletter to many of our existing publications.

Endothelial Cell News is a free, weekly, hand-compiled newsletter featuring the latest peer-reviewed research, science news, industry news, events and jobs related to the field of endothelial cell biology. Endothelial cells serve as an interface between the blood and surrounding tissues. Specific research topics covered in Endothelial Cell News include the roles of endothelial cells in the regulation of physiological processes (e.g., vasodilatation and vasoconstriction, blood coagulation, nutrient delivery, gas exchange, and the homing of regulatory cells), as well as their implications in tumor progression, cardiovascular disease, endometriosis, wound healing, tissue regeneration and other diseases and disorders. Given that the endothelium plays an integral role in a wide range of medical health research fields, Endothelial Cell News makes an excellent companion newsletter to some of our other weekly publications, including Muscle Cell News, Mesenchymal Cell News and Cell Therapy News.

Endothelial Cell News is intended to provide scientific researchers with a free, convenient tool that keeps them up to date with their field. Our goal is simply to save scientists time by doing the leg work for them. We search through the latest peer-reviewed research publications, press releases, scientific event announcements, jobs and general science news and compile it all in one quick email update. This allows researchers to spend more time doing the science they love, while still keeping current with the latest findings. In addition to the weekly science newsletter, Endothelial Cell News Twitter account is a fantastic way to connect with the endothelial cell biology field.
